Simple roses, is there such a thing as growing easy or simple roses? Because there are many different types of roses, it is wise to choose a variety of easy to grow roses to begin your rose garden, especially if you are a novice gardener.

Choose roses that don't require too much care or maintenance. Seeing that most roses do require a certain amount of time to get started, they need adequate care. Simple roses with minimum care that produce maximum results is the perfect answer for beginners. this will help teaching you the basics and keep the gardening experience a pleasant one.

There are many types of simple roses that do not require watering or fertilizing and will grow based on their nature of survival. This type of treatment is not recommended for any type of rose, especially if you want them to survive. This is why a good balance of watering and feeding is essential because it provides the nutrients and elements that your roses need without putting it under strain to get them for itself.

Belinda’s Dream is one of those very simple to grow roses. Belinda’s Dream grows approximately six feet high, its blooms are a beautiful, soft pink and they continue to bloom through the whole year. This rose is naturally disease resistant and will absolutely flourish on it’s own with little care.

Knockouts are another great choice and are very well liked and appreciated because of their ability to constantly bloom. They are also extremely hardy and resistant to disease and pests. They prefer warm and humid climates such as the southeast because they are quite resistant to black spot, which is a disease that is dreaded by rose gardeners of any warm and humid atmosphere. These roses produce vivid red colored blooms and it creeps out and covers a wide area.

The Fairy Rose is also one of these simple roses to start your gardening hobby/career of with. It is what rose gardeners refer to as a dwarf rose which only grows to lengths of no more than three feet. This rose grows closely to the ground and forms a blanket covering a large area. It blooms beautifully throughout the year, even through the summer months.  The large thorns make this plant a little more of a challenge to prune and care for but if you are willing to take it on, it can offer some eye-popping results during bloom.

The eighth annual 65 Roses 5K is March 27 in Downtown Cleveland at Lee University. The 5K run along with a 1K Fun Run and 5K walk, are part of the Great Strides weekend of events raising money for cystic fibrosis research.

The butterfly rose is the last pick of these simple to grow roses. This rose blooms constantly throughout the year and the flowers change colors as they develop. The petals begin as a delicate yellow, then turns to an orange color, then changes to pink, and finally winds up a deep and vibrant red color.

These roses are definitely a good starter  for the novice rose gardener. By growing these you offer yourself the opportunity to become familiar with roses. Once you have become confident in your new hobby/career you can move on to the other species of roses.
